Science is Tops at Immanuel
(but the rest aren’t far behind)
On the Iowa Test of Basic
Skills in 2007, Immanuel Lutheran School
students scored at the 95th percentile
in science. This means that only 5% of
all schools in the nation scored higher
than Immanuel in science. Immanuel's
composite score was the 94.3 %ile, which
places Immanuel in the top 5 percent of
all schools nationally. Since
Immanuel has no academic entrance
requirements, students are not screened
for their academic ability and
achievement. Immanuel's students
perform well because of their desire to
learn, parental support, and our
teachers' commitment to excellence for
each student.
In all classes, Immanuel students placed
two to three grade levels above the
average student in their grade.
Immanuel Lutheran School is an important
option for parents seeking as
alternative to secular education and is
committed to equipping students with a
Christian perspective which enables them
to understand and soar above the
pressures of the secular culture.
