Children,
Youth, & Family Life Ministries
Children,
youth, and families are an important
part of the ministry at Immanuel. We
are dedicated to working with families
in the cultivation of spiritual growth.
Our objective is to provide a caring,
nurturing, and loving environment where
children, youth, and families can learn
about Jesus, His love, and His
forgiveness.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
Sunday School
- Meets on Sunday morning from
9:30-10:20 for children three years
through fifth grade. -The FaithWeaver
Bible Curriculum teaches weekly Bible
truths to children as well as their
parents. Each weekly Bible story
provides a common ground for growing in
faith--and living that faith
out--together.
Nursery -
For newborns up to three years old, the
nursery is staffed on Sunday mornings
from 9:15 to noon to include both - the
Education hour (9:30-10:20) and - First
Light Worship – (10:30-11:45)-.
Bell
Bottoms
- A beginning children’s handbell choir
for 3rd & 4th
grade students. They meet on Wednesday
afternoons in the sanctuary from
4:-30-5:00
Radical Ringers -
An advanced children’s handbell choir
for 5th & 6th
grade students and experienced 4th
grade ringers. They meet on Wednesday
afternoon in the sanctuary from
4:00-4:30.
Lazer Lights
– This K-5th grade worship
track meets from 5:00-5:30 on Wednesday
evenings and provides children an
opportunity to learn about worship as
well as preparation to participate in
worship on a regular basis through
singing, chime ringing, drama, artwork
and more.
Small Groups
– FaithWeaver Friends curriculum is used
for our children’s ministry small groups
which meets on Wednesday evenings from
6-7pm. Small groups, offered for 3 year
olds through 5th grade,
provides an opportunity to grow in
relationship with God, other students
and dedicated adult leaders.
Vacation Bible School

YOUTH MINISTRY
Middle School Youth-
Youth grades 6 through 8 participate in
our Confirmation Ministry. This ministry
is intended to firmly establish a
personal and life-long faith in Jesus
Christ for each student. Students meet
on Sunday mornings 9:30-10:20am and on
Wednesday nights 5:00-7:00pm.
Confirmation includes small groups,
creative worship tracks, and classes
such as The Lord’s Prayer, The Lord’s
Supper, Human Sexuality: A Christian
Perspective, Baptism, Stewardship, and
more.
High School Youth-
Meet on Sunday mornings 9:30-10:20am and
Wednesday nights 6:00-7:00pm in the
youth room for Bible Study on real-life
topics. Students choose each topic, so
it changes often. This ministry is
intended to strengthen each youth’s
faith in Jesus Christ by preparing them
for daily challenges, answering
questions and equipping to live their
faith boldly.
Event Crew—This
team of adults and youth plan youth
events. Some events include Lock Ins,
Thanksgiving Basket food drive, Super
Bowl parties, concerts, service
projects, going to Colorado Eagles
Hockey Games, Easter Breakfast and more.
Some events are for all youth, while
others are for either Middle School
Youth or High School Youth. Check the
calendar, the Youth Bulletin Board, or
Yooth Nooz for the latest information.
Work Camps-
Each summer, Immanuel Youth participate
in service-and Bible study events. These
events last one week and benefit
non-profit organizations and private
individuals. Youth serve in a variety of
ways, some of which have been painting,
building new trails, sharing food and
conversation with the homeless, building
decks and much more. Many youth look
forward to these events each year, and
some have not missed one yet!

ROCKn Ringers —
A youth handbell choir for 7th-12th
grade students, this choir meets . -
Wednesday evenings in the sanctuary from
7:00-7:45pm. In addition to ringing for
Sunday morning worship, they also ring
for Festival worship services with
multiple handbell choirs and go on an
annual Ski & Ring road trip to
Breckenridge.
FAMILY MINISTRY
Women’s Retreat-
Join other women of faith for our annual
retreat. Our 2008 retreat will be held
February 22-24 in Estes Park. Our
speaker is Teresa Schardt whose mission
is to show and tell about God’s love and
grace. For more information, check the

Many lasting friendships have been made
during this retreat!
Men’s Retreat-
Put together by Men with a
Mission,
this retreat will be held September
19-21, 2008. - Join other men -for a
weekend of learning, growth and manly
fun!
Celebrate Recovery-
A Biblical based small group format for
anyone with issues, hang-ups, or
addictions. Groups meet through out the
week to go through a four-book study
based on the B-Attitudes and a 12-step
study. For more information on meeting

Vacation
Bible School-
-This year’s Vacation Bible School,
“Power Lab,” will be held July 14-18,
2008. Plan now to join in this year’s
life changing week-long experience where
children don’t just learn about God’s
Word, they live it!
Workshops- Throughout the year workshops on marriage, parenting,
relationship building, money management,
etc are offered for anyone interested.
